• Exotic material belonging to the family of colubri (ground snakes), whose scales are smoother than those of the python. The skin of the elaphe is covered with a digital paper applied hot, reproducing the natural animal pattern. • Variations in the patterning are as a consequence and expression of the uniqueness of the material. • Over exposure to direct light can cause colour changes. • Avoid excessive temperature changes and humidity which can damage the plastic film that covers the leather of the upper. With the use of the shoe and the passage of time the flakes can be lifted. • Cleaning: the upper can be easily cleaned using a slightly damp sponge cloth with a gentle movement, without releasing water streaks. The direction of the movement must always accompany that of the scales of the patterning, in order not to raise them. Leave to dry in the air without external heat sources. • Do not use brushes and avoid excessive abrasions which could irreversibly degrade the film.
